One element of this program was the realisation of a common and integrated consolidation and management information system. With this system we made a great leap forward in the realisation of our strategic information architecture, which focuses on delivering improved management information, reducing costs and realising a quicker time to market of new management information. However, we were not satisfied with the results we reached on management information. Senior management and other important users were not satisfied either. Furthermore the development took too long.
